Police appeal for information on missing East Calder man
20 AugustPolice are appealing for information to trace an East Calder man who has been missing from his homefor almost four weeks.
Friends and family are concerned for the safety of Alan Clarkson (33) who was last seen in Methil, Fife, on Saturday 31st July. He has not been back to his home in East Calder's Langton Terrace, or been in contact since, and was reported missing on Tuesday 3rd August.
Alan is white, 5ft 9ins tall, of stocky build, with short brown hair. He was wearing a beige baseball hat, blue jumper and beige three-quarter length trousers.
A police spokesperson said: "We are growing increasingly concerned for Alan's safety, and we are appealing directly to Alan himself to make contact and let us know he is safe and well.
"Alan may still be in Fife, so we are also asking people there to look out for him.
"We are urging anyone who has seen or heard from him in the past few weeks to come forward."
