Thanks as East Calder turns out in force to give blood
26 AugustGenerous people in Mid Calder have been thanked after they turned out in large numbers to donate at the blood transfusion at the sports centre.
In total 122 people turned out to the session to help keep the vital supplies flowing to the Scottish National Blood Transfusion service.
There were also congratulations to regular donors Gordon Lumsden and Graham Davidson, who were presented with silver badges for 25 donations, while a bronze badge for 10 donations was given to Mairi Crawford.
The blood transfusion unit will next be back in Mid Calder on Wednesday 24th November from 4.30-8pm at the sports centre - so mark it in your diary!
